Students in Year 8 who are taking part in the Growth Project have been learning about the impact our food choices have on our bodies. Last week they had the opportunity to discover new breakfast options, including carrot juice, figs, celery, berries and ‘on the go’ options! The students were phenomenal in trying new foods and were treated to a delicious lemon drizzle cake at the end to highlight the importance of balance in our diets! A massive FHS thanks goes to our mentors for volunteering their time and using their experiences to support our students.
